ASCI Holds Academic Writing Seminars

On January 20 and 21, 2024, Dr. R. Paul Lege conducted remote interactive seminars on Academic Writing as part of the continued effort to provide educational services for all the doctoral candidates in the Asian Satellite Campuses Institutes (ASCI). This was the second of such a series of seminars that Professor Lege offered over the past year. The invitation to this two-day workshop was opened to learners from all the respective departments and countries involved in the ASCI program.

Professor Lege introduced and covered numerous key elements associated with Academic Writing including form, organization, elaboration, purpose, audience, registry, and plagiarism. Student attendance and engagement were high as the design of the seminars provided various activities during the two-day event. Hopefully, further workshops will be available in the future.
