NU graduate's appointment as Vietnam's Minister of Justice

NU alumni Dr. Le Thanh Long was appointed as the Minister of Justice in Vietnam on April 9, 2016. Dr. Le Thanh Long obtained his doctoral degree from Nagoya University’s Graduate School of Law in March 2003. Such a significant appointment showcases the ways in which NU graduates, particularly those that come to study at NU from outside of Japan, play important roles and contribute to the development of their own countries using what they learned at Nagoya University. The NU community congratulates Dr. Le Thanh Long and wishes him success in his career as the Minister of Justice as well as his efforts in furthering the development of Vietnam.
