Mongolia Satellite Campus Entrance Ceremony

The Entrance Ceremony for the Transnational Doctoral Programs for Leading Professionals in Asian Countries was held at Mongolia Satellite Campus`s Lecture Room in Ulaanbaatar on November 14, 2016. Many distinguished guests were invited to the ceremony including representatives from Embassy of Japan, JICA, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Environment and Tourism, and National Emergency Management Agency of Mongolia. The delegation from  Nagoya university included Professor Fumio Isoda, the Director of ASCI, Dr. Hiroshi Kanzawa, Dean of Graduate School of Environmental Sciences, Dr. Nobuyuki Hamajima of the Graduate School of Medicine and Dr. Satoshi Yokoyama of Graduate School of Environmental Sciences.
 
  

At the ceremony, the Director Fumio Isoda delivered a congratulatory speech and welcomed four new doctoral students, two at the Graduate School of Medicine and two at the Graduate School of Environmental Studies. Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of Japan in Mongolia Mr. Minoru Kikuchi and Mr. Mutsumi Sato, Chief Representative of JICA, Mongolia office also extended congratulations and warm welcome to all the students and expressed high hopes for their academic success.

The new students included Mr. Sereenen Enkhbold, director of the Department of Health Policy and Implementation and Coordination, Ministry of Health of Mongolia, Ms. Chadraabal Ariunaa, senior specialist at the Policy Coordination and Cooperation Department, National Emergency Management Agency, Ms. Jigjidsuren Altantuya, senior social sector officer at the Asian Development Bank, and Mr. Mendjargal Tulga, officer at the Department of Environmental and Natural Resources Management, Ministry of Environment and Tourism. At the end of the ceremony, the students expressed their strong determination to succeed in their doctoral studies.


 
After the entrance ceremony, Nagoya university delegates were invited to the Conferring ceremony of Visiting Professorship on Dr. Nobuyuki Hamajima at the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences.
